Expansion of Beyonce Tattoos
Beyonce became quickly famous while positioned in the head vocal position for Destiny’s Child in the 1990s. When the band split and Beyonce went solo, her career never hit a bump. In fact, her fans simply wanted to hear more of her, with or without the other group members.
In 2001, she started her acting career and Beyonce tattoos still hadn’t emerged on the scene yet. She received two Golden Globe nominations for her remarkable performance in Dreamgirls and shortly after, she launched her clothing line. Beyonce has endorsed L’Oreal, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani and Pepsi. She has even been called one of the most successful artists of the past decade by Billboard.
Here is the first piece in the Beyonce tattoos and it is certainly the one that has caused the most confusion. It seems as though someone reported that Beyonce had a praying mantis on her left upper thigh and then instead of future writers checking facts before using the hearsay of others, they also suggested that this is what she wore.
However, this was a praying angel with wings. Interestingly, this piece in the collection of Beyonce tattoos that has stirred up the most controversy, is the one that she no longer has. For a few years, Beyonce had laser sessions done to get rid of this tattoo and many, many years ago she denied having one for some reason. Perhaps she was embarrassed? She certainly got over that and has proceeded to get two more Beyonce tattoos since dating Jay-Z.

Prior to their wedding, a Roman numeral IV was added to the list of Beyonce tattoos. The big day took place May 4th in France but apparently this number happens to be an obsession to both of them for some reason. This tattoo is worn on her ring finger. Beyonce and Jay-Z are a very private couple and didn’t even admit to their engagement or plans for quite a long time.
BROOKLYN
Fans are not really impressed by the fairly large addition to the Beyonce tattoos. For someone who denied that she had any ink at all for so long, it is rather interesting that she would get the word BROOKLYN in large upper case letters traveling up her left hand and wrist.
